The challenge

Develop sites, digital products, private content and marketing paths while strengthening security, internationalization and automation of production.

The intervention

  • Custom WordPress and WooCommerce developments.
  • Mobile application and API.
  • Protection of private media and downloads.
  • Internal CRM and structuring of commercial data.
  • Emailing, video and publishing integrations.
  • Localization and control of multilingual content.
  • Content and media automation with human quality control.

What this case demonstrates

A long-term product approach: connect several bricks, secure sensitive routes and automate what can be automated without losing human supervision.

A scope beyond the storefront

Online sales were only one part of this ecosystem. The scope combined WordPress and WooCommerce, an internal CRM, applications and APIs, and protected media and private downloads. Symfony and React Native were among the technologies used. The challenge was to evolve the whole ecosystem over time, including its content, commercial workflows and mobile use cases.

Three responsibilities to distinguish

  • Selling: custom WordPress and WooCommerce development covers the storefront and its user journeys.
  • Commercial follow-up: the internal CRM and structured commercial data are a separate responsibility from displaying the catalogue.
  • The customer-facing product: protected media, private downloads, applications and APIs extend the scope beyond the purchase.

This view of the scope explains why “adding an e-commerce feature” does not describe the whole project. A change may affect published content, information used by the team or access reserved for a customer. These remain different responsibilities even when they contribute to the same journey.

Internationalization and automation with oversight

The work also included email, video and publishing integrations, content localization and AI-assisted automation. Human quality control is part of the documented scope: automating preparation or production does not remove the need to review what will be published.
